Step 1: Check the Willo Status

If everything looks OK proceed to the next step...
Step 2: Test your device
Try testing your webcam with this website: https://test.webrtc.org/
If everything looks OK with your microphone and webcam please proceed to check:
- Your device settings > navigate to 'Sound' or 'Camera' and check if there's any indication of a muted microphone or disabled camera.
- Close all other tabs in your browser
- Restart your device - this old trick always helps!
- Check you have the latest version of your browser - update it if not.
- (Chrome only) Please navigate here to check the correct camera is selected and Willo is allowed access: chrome://settings/content/camera
Try refreshing and try the interview again from the beginning using the link you were provided.
If you are still unable to interview please proceed to the next step...
Step 3: Check your connection
We require a minimum internet upload speed of 2mbps. If your internet upload speed is lower than 2mbps we suggest using an alternative connection. Test your internet speed.
Top tip: Sometimes it can help to wait until the internet is quieter in your neighbourhood. Try anytime after 7pm or early in the morning before 9am.

Step 4: Use Chrome Incognito
After downloading the latest version of Google Chrome (our recommended browser) open the Willo interview in Incognito mode:
- Windows or Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + n
- Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + n
Try refreshing and try the interview again from the beginning using the link you were provided.
